MARYVILLE, MO, November 17, 2016 – A new GIS website for the Bennett Lane Cemetery in Andrew County, MO recently went live thanks to the combined surveying and mapping efforts of Midland Surveying, Inc. and Midland GIS Solutions, both headquartered in Maryville, Missouri. Midland Surveying, Inc. was selected by Bennett Lane Cemetery Board to GPS locate and photograph cemetery features and plots to incorporate this information into a detailed GIS program.

Midland GIS Solutions provided GIS data integration services and also designed and implemented a GIS website. Midland Surveying was able to help the County develop a product that would integrate their existing paper data into a web-based platform to be maintained internally by cemetery board members and include customized features for genealogy research.
