MARYVILLE, MO, February 16, 2018 – Midland GSS JV has been awarded the 2017 NASA Langley Research Center Award for Small Business Prime Contractor of the Year. This honor recognizes Midland’s significant contributions and staffing support for the geospatial services program at NASA Langley Research Center (LaRC).
With this award, Midland GSS JV is now eligible to be chosen as the 2017 NASA Small Business Industry Awards (SBIA) Agency-level winner in the same category. The 2017 NASA Agency-level SBIA winners will be announced during the spring 2018 NASA Industry Forum meeting on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at NASA Headquarters in Washington DC.
Midland’s expertise facilitates and supports the operation and maintenance of the Center’s geospatial services, which includes accurately collecting, analyzing, and utilizing geospatial data throughout the facility to increase efficiencies in daily maintenance operations, asset management, various aspects of construction and environmental activities, and facility construction.
