Project Overview
The Evergy 161KV Transmission Line survey consisted of boundary surveys and utility location surveys along the 18+/- mile Transmission Line corridor between Evergy’s existing substations located in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Description
Title work was completed on all properties adjoining the Transmission Line Easements. A base map was created to show the existing Transmission Line Easement in relationship to the adjoining properties as well as all utility locations within the Transmission line Easement. Evergy Engineers used these base maps to design a new Transmission line through this corridor. In areas where the existing easement was not sufficient, additional easements were described. Upon completion of the design of the Transmission Line, the new poles and offsets were staked by Midland Surveying field crews for the construction of the new Transmission Line.
